1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Game For Friends (the “Service”), including multiplayer rooms, single-player mode, the packs store, and creator tools.

By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & use

• Eligibility. You must be legally able to enter into an agreement in your country or region. If you are using the Service on behalf of a group or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
• Permitted use. You may use the Service to play, host rooms, manage packs, and—if eligible— publish your own content as part of the game.
• Prohibited use. You may not use the Service for unlawful activities, to harass others, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data, or to interfere with the normal operation of the app.
• Service changes. We may add, change, or remove features, or suspend or stop parts of the Service, to improve the product, comply with law, or protect users.

3. Accounts

• Account information. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Security. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notification. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, you should notify us as soon as possible.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Payments for paid plans, packs, or creator payouts are processed by Stripe or a similar payment provider. We do not store full card or bank numbers on our own servers.

• Plans. The Service may offer free and paid tiers with different limits, features, or access to certain packs and tools.
• Renewals. Subscriptions generally renew automatically at the end of each billing period, unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
• Trials & cancellations. If we offer trials or introductory offers, specific terms will be shown in the app. Cancellations usually take effect at the end of the current period.
• Taxes & refunds. Prices may not include taxes. Any refunds are handled according to our refund rules, payment provider rules, and applicable law.

5. Packs & content

The Service is built around question packs that can include text, images, audio, and video.

• Access. Some packs are free, others may be paid or available only to certain plans.
• License to you. When you gain access to a pack, you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it inside the Service for private or group play.
• Restrictions. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute packs or their content outside the Service without explicit permission from the rights holder.
• Moderation. We may remove or limit access to packs that appear to violate law, intellectual property rights, or our content guidelines.

6. Creators & payouts

• Eligibility. Creator tools and payouts may be available only in certain regions, to verified users, or under specific program rules.
• Payouts via Stripe. We may use Stripe (for example, Stripe Connect) to send payouts. Bank and card details are processed by Stripe, not stored by us in full.
• Your rights to content. By uploading or publishing content, you confirm that you have the rights to use it and to allow us to host and display it within the Service.
• Program enforcement. We may pause or stop payouts, or limit creator tools, if we suspect fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms or applicable law.

7. Gameplay & fair use

• Fair play. You agree not to use bots, exploits, or other methods that give an unfair advantage or disrupt the experience for others.
• Room limits. We may set technical limits on room size, number of rooms, or frequency of new room creation to keep the Service stable.
• Reporting. If you encounter abusive behavior, cheating, or technical issues, you can report it through in-app tools (if available) or by contacting support.

8. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, threatening, hateful, or harassing content.
• No attempts to access another user’s account or personal data.
• No uploading viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• No impersonating other people or misrepresenting your affiliation.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Game For Friends and its licensors. Individual packs and their content are owned by their respective creators and are licensed for use within the Service.

If you believe that content in the Service infringes your rights, you can contact us with details of your claim so we can review it in line with applicable notice and takedown procedures.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

• “As is”. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• No indirect damages. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
• Liability cap. Where allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service during the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

Some countries or regions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those places, these limits apply only to the extent permitted by local law.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms, a risk to other users, or a legal obligation to do so.

Parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue to apply after termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add new features or when laws change. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app.

If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our main operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection rules in your country may still apply to you.
